Romance In The Alley Synopsis
In the late 1970s, two families, Zhuang and Lin, lived in an alley in the family area of a cotton spinning factory in Suzhou. As the college entrance examination resumes, Zhuang Chaoying, a teacher, and his wife Huang Ling make their children’s college entrance examination their top family priority. Influenced by this, neighbors Lin Wufeng and Song Ying’s family also began to pay attention to their sons’ studies.
The family of Zhuang Chaoying and Huang Ling seems to be harmonious and decent. Their son Zhuang Tunan is hardworking and studious, and their daughter Zhuang Xiaoting is well-behaved and sensible. However, Zhuang Chaoying’s cowardice, stupidity, and filial piety have hurt the family. Lin Wufeng and Song Ying’s family next door seem to be going their own way, and their son Lin Dongzhe is extremely naughty.
