Synopsis.
Hao Duanduan, a programmer with obsessive-compulsive disorder, lost his job because the company he was working for has gone bankrupt. Sun Yiliu, an investor who’s returned to the country, sees potential in Hao Duanduan’s AI travel APP and encourages him to start a business together.
Four youths begin their entrepreneurial journey when investor Sun Yiliu found the travel app developed by Hao Duanduan. They are joined by the forthright Li Meng and Zhou Xiao’ou, an executive facing a mid-life crisis. Both are employees of Pengpeng.com which is a traditional travel company.
The new start-up faces intense pressure from Pengpeng.com making progress difficult due to price wars and other challenges. Luckily, they manage to secure 1 million during an entrepreneurial conference to complete the first round of angel financing. With the further development of the app, changes in the mindset of the entrepreneurs themselves have caused the company to experience a crisis of trust that has ended with the its acquisition. Yet as the four regain their original aspirations, they reunite once more to develop a brand-new APP that will defeat industry rivals.
