Synopsis.
A story that embodies the spirit of China’s manufacturing industry follows three old classmates who steadily press ahead in the face of opponents in their domestic market and abroad to turn a small factory on the verge of bankruptcy into one of the world’s top 500 companies.
The North Machinery Company was about to go bankrupt due to poor management. Sun Heping, who is the general manager for sales in Southeast Asia, is urgently deployed back to China to manage the situation. Relying on his strong market acumen formed through his many years of hard work, Sun Heping brings the company under the umbrella of his old classmate Yang Liu’s Hanzhong Group. After several years of development and drastic reform, Beiji gains new life and even successfully gets listed in Hong Kong.
In order to realize the dream of specializing in heavy duty trucks to truly turn Beiji into a bigger and stronger company, Sun Heping seeks to acquire Red Star Heavy Duty Truck, which is controlled by his old classmate Liu Biding. Yang Liu is vehemently against this thinking it is his Hanzhong Group and not Beiji that should be branded as a world-renowned heavy-duty truck assembly enterprise.
