Synopsis.
A love story between a “puppy dog” from Shanghai who has gone to Dongbei for school and meets a tough Northeastern girl.
Yang Yishan grew up having the best in life. In order to escape from his aunt’s protective clutches, he applied to four universities in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western parts of the country. He eventually chooses a school in Dongbei which is far away from Shanghai. Despite being full of enthusiasm, it has become hard for him to adjust to his new environment due to differences in living habits. It is also there that he encounters Zhao Duoduo, a Northeastern girl, whom he wouldn’t have met if they hadn’t gotten into a fight.
Yang Yishan’s aunt who raised him is so worried about him that she has come all the way to Shenyang to keep him company. Somehow, Duoduo’s dad Zhao Jiefang ends up becoming her landlord. In order to escape once more, Yang Yishan has applied for studies abroad but he is afraid to let his aunt know. Meanwhile, Duoduo is determined to pair up Yishan’s aunt with her dad and she has been forcing him to participate in “crazy” attempts to make it happen.
