Synopsis.
A story that follows two former lovers who went through a painful breakup. Years later, cardiac surgeon Nie Yusheng reunites with his ex, Tan Jing, who is a mother struggling trying to make ends meet to care for her son who has a heart disease.
Tan Jing (Li Xiaoran) and her son Sun Ping only have each other. Because Sun Ping has a congenital heart disease, Tan Jing has to work hard and live very frugally in order to save money for her son’s surgery. Life may be difficult, yet Tan Jing has no complaints. She is independent, strong and cherishes every day of their life. Tan Jing has also taught Sun Ping to be a cute, sensible and well-mannered boy.
Cardiothoracic surgeon Nie Yusheng (Wallace Chung) is working on a project to help patients with congenital heart disease. Sun Ping is the first child to be chosen as the beneficiary. Nie Yusheng discovers that Sun Ping’s mother is Tan Jing whom he dated seven years ago. Throughout the treatment, Nie Yusheng finds that he is still deeply attracted by the beauty of Tan Jing’s quiet strength. He also becomes fond of her son. Life add their time apart has given the two a test, allowing them to face each other’s love more maturely.
