Have you ever watched a Chinese Drama and be like ‘ Hum this drama is really not for me? ‘ Well at least I’m not the only one.
Firstly I want to make it clear that by saying I dropped the drama, it doesn’t mean it is not worthy to watch. The drama may not be entertaining to me, but can be entertaining to someone else.
Five Chinese dramas that I stopped watching.
1. Love 020.
I accidentally found the drama by mistake on YouTube and the thumbnail was very attractive, so I said ‘ what will I lose if I just watched it ‘. I only managed to watch about 3 or 4 episodes and I moved to the next drama. Reason why I dropped the drama is because when I first clicked on the drama, I expected it to be a historical drama and if you watched the drama, you will agree with me that it really started like it is a historical drama. At that time I wasn’t a fan of modern day drama but I really tried to watch another episode until I said ‘ hew! well I tried ‘. Now I am a fan of modern day Chinese dramas thanks to Love is Sweet and Hello Mr. Gu
2. Love better than Immortality.
Well this one is in my favorite drama categories or genres. I am a fan of time travel and historical dramas and also a fan of Zhao Lusi. I watched the drama up until episode 25. Reason why I stopped watching the drama is actually what you think believe me haha. The drama is perfect but two things stopped me from continuing with the drama. firstly, the storyline of the drama was kind of confusing and I had a hard time trying to figure it all out. Secondly, the drama was dragging a lot, you find 10 episodes revolving around one thing. A drama that drags can make a person lose interest quickly.
3. Love and Destiny.
To be honest, I sometimes feel like this drama is overrated. First episode reminded me of Ten miles to peach blossom, but anyways that is not the case. I only watched 14 episodes of the drama and just searched for a new drama. Reason why I stopped watching the drama is because of the effects and edits, some of their scenes weren’t that convincing even the demon lord was unrealistic. The drama also had an unfitting male character, don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate anyone in the drama.
4. The soul Stitchers.
This drama had a unique vibe of demon hunters, but it wasn’t really convincing. The story was complicated and the demon characters were just basic. I don’t even remember when did I stop watching it but I forced myself to watch a number of episodes.
5. The ugly queen.
Well, this one is different. I didn’t stop watching it because it didn’t match with my preferences. I watched only 13 episodes of the drama and I never found the remaining episodes. anyone who has watched the full drama, please do tell where I can find the full episodes. This drama left me with a cliffhanger and I am still hanging on.
These are the five Chinese dramas I stopped watching, I should have made it ten but I’m afraid we wouldn’t even reach ten.
Here is a fun fact, I nearly dropped Legend of Fei at some point, I would have missed out on the fun!
